best parts

I have 2 days until my due date. Needless to say, I am so ready for this baby to be out in the world, more to the point, out of me...

So this morning I tried to fill my mind with lots of sweet details from the past nine months of pregnancy that I never want to forget.  Thinking about the best parts of pregnancy is helping me stay positive and patient until she's ready :)

~finding out we were pregnant, so much joy

~boy or girl? best part!

~hearing the sweet heartbeat each month

~preparing a nursery and gathering all the baby things

~showers with friends and family who are so happy for you

~having a great reason to nap everyday (something I usually always do anyways, ha!)

~having a great reason to get ice cream everyday and order chicken fried steak, you never have to say no

~taking baby bump pictures and watching how baby has grown from a lentil bean to a watermelon, wow!

~peoples faces when they see you in public...for me it usually went something like this...
woman would stare and put a sweet congratulatory smile on their faces with a head tilt, as if they are thinking "awe how sweet"
men on the other hand would make eye contact, notice my baby bump, and look away as fast as possible, as if they are trying to avoid any awkwardness, HA! very funny!

~daydreaming about what she will look like and what her personality will be

~talking with Zach about our baby and what life will be like once she is here

~listening to Zach as he cheers on Hannah to grow big and strong, always telling her how proud he is of her

~Zach's smile when we talk about Hannah, it really just melts my heart!

~random gifts in the mail, that are all so cute and tiny, from family and friends, so awesome

~feeling Hannah girl move and kick, and hiccups, she gets them a lot

~daydreaming about hold my baby and loving on her with my whole heart....

38 weeks

39 weeks

40 weeks (I feel like she has grown so much this week)
